President Trump Accomplishments

Is president Trump kicking some butt, or what?

Considering how many professional politicians work very hard to prevent The Pres from implementing his agenda, a lot has been done so far. Of course, President Trump supporters would be much happier if security problems on our southern border and illegal emigration, in general, were taken care of. Unfortunately, the constant engagement of proponents of open borders in sabotaging the security of our country is significantly slowing down the President’s efforts to control who is entering The United States.

What’s funny about the entire southern border situation is that (as a result of Pres. Trump’s threat of imposing tariffs on Mexican export to the US ) Mexican government is doing more to secure our southern border then our own Congress does. Try to figure that one out…

Happy Birthday America!

On July 4, 1776, the 13 colonies claimed their independence from England, an event which eventually led to the formation of the United States.

John Hancock, President of the Continental Congress, signed the Declaration of Independence. It is said that John Hancock’s signed his name “with a great flourish,” so England’s “King George can read that without spectacles!”

I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.

Are Social Media Giants Committing Suicide? Project Veritas Video-Report About Google Bias.

Elizabeth Warren is saying we should break up Google. And like, I love her but she’s very misguided, like that will not make it better it will make it worse, because all these smaller companies who don’t have the same resources that we do will be charged with preventing the next Trump situation, it’s like a small company cannot do that.

We all got screwed over in 2016, again it wasn’t just us, it was, the people got screwed over, the news media got screwed over, like, everybody got screwed over so we’re rapidly been like, what happened there and how do we prevent it from happening again.

How Google plan to prevent another “Trump situation” in 2020

Project Veritas has released a new report on Google which includes:

  • Undercover video of a Senior Google Executive.
  • Leaked documents.
  • Testimony from a Google insider.

The report appears to show Google’s plans to affect the outcome of the 2020 elections and “prevent” the next “Trump situation.”

The above video has been removed from YouTube at Google’s request (Google owns YouTube). Project Veritas is fighting back.

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, protects internet platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Google from liability for statements and content its users generate. When fighting for that protection, social platforms argued that, because of the volume of material being posted by users of their services, it’s impossible to control what lands on their servers.

The question is. Should Google, Facebook, and other social media companies enjoy immunity deserved by unbiased internet platforms, or should they, due to all the hard work they perform in censoring conservatives, be treated as publishers and be held responsible for the content published by their users?

It is more and more evident that all those social giants possess technology that, to a large degree, let them control what does or doesn’t show on their platforms. Unfortunately, instead of using that technology to help people in expressing and widening their views, social media barons use it to prevent people from expressing opinions, not in line with those the owners of these services want to promote.

Thought control practiced by Google and others doesn’t sit well with some politicians. Particularly with the congressman from Texas – Louie Gohmert.

Rep. Gohmert issued a statement regarding Project Veritas report.

This video shows Google’s biases are now a threat to a free and fair election, all while they hide behind the immunity given by Congress years ago when they were supposed to be a simple ‘town square’ where everyone’s voice could be heard without biased results. In fact, Google references a significant role they see themselves fulfilling in the 2020 elections. This discovery should set off alarm bells throughout the country.

It is no secret that Google has a political agenda. Multiple brave tech insiders have stepped forward and exposed Google’s censorship of content and specialized algorithms. This media giant’s ‘social justice narrative’ should distress all Americans who value a free and open society. Google should not be deciding whether content is important or trivial and they most assuredly should not be meddling in our election process.

They need their immunity stripped and to be properly pursued by class action lawsuits by those they have knowingly harmed.

Congressman Louie Gohmert

Why stockholders don’t complain?

Alphabet – Google parent company is an enormous enterprise. Although run by progressive liberals, not all stockholders are liberal. Many stockholders would like to see the company operated without mixing into politics, but because most of Class B shares, valued at 10 votes each, are owned by company founders giving them over 51 percent of shareholder voting power, what they want, goes.

There are 50 million B shares, approximately 45 million of which are owned by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. That means the two founders control 450 million votes, while the publicly traded shares plus the remaining B shares account for 342 million votes.

It’s going to be interesting to see if Messrs. Page and Brin will cool down attempts to use their Google empire to prevent Donald Trump from being re-elected as US President. I have a feeling that they will do the right thing for the company shareholders, and put their ambitions of running the world, on hold. Otherwise, they will position themselves in the government’s cross-hair, and that is never a good thing.

15,000 Mexican Troops Deployed To US Border

In an attempt to stop the flow of illegal immigration into the United States and avoid tariffs from the Trump administration, Mexico has deployed approximately 15,000 military personnel to its northern border.

We have a total deployment, between the National Guard and army units, of 14,000, almost 15,000 men in the north of the country,

Mexico’s Defense Minister
Luis Cresencio Sandoval

After multiple attempts to work with the US Congress in securing our southern border and realizing that Congress has zero interest in doing so, President Trump decided to enlist the help of Mexico. As an incentive, he delicately hinted that if our southern neighbor doesn’t take action to stop the uncontrolled influx of illegals from Central America to the United States, he will put tariffs on all Mexican products exported to the US. Merely speaking, will tax living daylights out of them.

Tariffs don’t work. Really?

Because of the threat of tariffs (which could reach as high as 25%), after few days, which Mexican leaders needed to think about it and our Congress used to scream bloody murder and criticize Mr. Trump for starting another trade war, on June 7, Mexico signed an agreement with the Trump administration. They got 45 days to show significant results in their efforts to counter the surge of migrants from Central America entering the United States.

Fifteen thousand troops deployed to the border is a good start. Future will show how serious the Mexican government is about controlling its northern frontier.

Last month (May 2019), US officials detained 144,000 migrants at the border, up 32 percent from April and 278 percent from May 2018. The total included a record 89,000 families. If they manage to cut these numbers to one third over the next 30 days, I will consider it worthwhile.

Sen. Sasse Destroys Pro-Abortion Argument

Pro-abortion extremism.

As Democrats’ abortion positions have become more extreme, they have no longer sought to even persuade fellow citizens with whom they disagree. Rather, they have become openly hostile to Americans who disagree on this great moral challenge.

Sen. Ben Sasse

There isn’t much I can add to Senator Ben Sasse, the author of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, speech. Listen and think about it.

The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
Senator Ben Sasse’s bill requires any health care practitioner who is present when a child is born alive following an abortion or attempted abortion to, first, exercise the same degree of care as reasonably provided to any other child born alive at the same gestational age, and second, ensure that such a child is immediately admitted to a hospital.

The reason for Senator Ben Sasse’s bill flows from the recent explosion of advocacy for late-term abortion. Specifically, legislated on Jan 22, 2019, in New York State, Reproductive Health Act, and newly proposed The Repeal Act in Virginia.
Below you can read a short exchange between Virginia House of Delegates Majority Leader Todd Gilbert and sponsor of the bill Kathy Tran who explained to Del. Gilbert, what her bill is about.

  • House Majority Leader, Del. Todd Gilbert:
How late in the third trimester could a physician perform an abortion if he indicated it would impair the mental health of the woman?
  • Sponsor of the bill, Del. Kathy Tran:
Through the third trimester. The third trimester goes all the way up to 40 weeks.
  • Todd Gilbert:
Where it’s obvious a woman is about to give birth, that she has physical signs that she is about to give birth—would that be a point at which she could still request an abortion if she was so certified? She’s dilating.
  • Kathy Tran:
Mr. Chairman, that would be a decision that the doctor, the physician, and the woman would make at that point.
  • Todd Gilbert:
I understand that. I’m asking if your bill allows that.
  • Kathy Tran:
My bill would allow that, yes.

And now a scary part. Virginia’s governor, Ralph Northam explained on a Washington-area radio station, WTOP what will happen if as a result of (insanely) late-term abortion, a child is born alive.

If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen, the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.

“The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired.” What if they don’t desire for infant to be resuscitated?

“And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.” Discussion about what?

On 1/30/2019

Maybe I’m overreacting, but it looks to me that Governor is talking about the possibility of infanticide.

So, a kid is born alive and “kept comfortable” when mother and father discuss what to do with new (temporary) addition to their family. Is there a time limit on how long it can take for the parents to decide on the future of the child? Is it 15 min? An hour? Maybe a day? I would hate to hear on the evening news, that some mom somewhere finally decided to abort her 32-year-old son living in her house’s basement apartment…

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – “Never Again” Means Something.

A Quick Thought.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 6/17/19:

The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border, and that is exactly what they are. If that doesn’t bother you … I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that ‘never again’ means something.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
It appears that congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez’s
knowledge about Nazi Concentration Camps needs a significant improvement.

For some unexplainable reason, A.O.C. when criticizing President Trump and his emigration policies, decided to draw a comparison between the Wolrd War II-era Nazi Concentration Camps, and Migrant Detention Centers operated by the U.S. Government on our southern border.

Watch The Video

As a result, lots of people took offense to it. I think the reaction of JCRC represents it best.

The Jewish Community Relations Council.
Open letter to the congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez.

We are deeply disturbed by the language used in your recent Instagram live video which seeks to equate the detention centers on America’s southern border with Nazi-era Concentration Camps.

And they continue:

The terms ‘Concentration Camp’ and ‘Never Again’ are synonymous with and evocative of the atrocities committed by Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany, in which 6 million European Jews were systematically denied civil and human rights due to their race and ultimately murdered in a state-sponsored genocide. As concerned as we are about the conditions experienced by migrants seeking asylum in the United States, including family separation, unusable facilities, and lack of food, water, and medical resources, the regrettable use of Holocaust terminology to describe these contemporary concerns diminishes the evil intent of the Nazis to eradicate the Jewish people.

It’s not the first time when congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez said something she shouldn’t have said, and once more her supporters trying to defend her have to distort or ignore facts. The most common line of defense was stating that A.O.C. was talking about concentration camps as an area used to temporarily concentrate people, and not specifically about Nazi Death Camps where millions of people had lost their lives. Their point is that

It wasn’t only the Nazis who set up concentration camps,
Nazis just gave those camps a bad name.

That’s an interesting approach. Take a highly toxic remark and then use multiple observations and explanations to cut the toxicity level of the original comment down.

Unfortunately for all those supporters, there’s one small problem. The only way one could reach that conclusion is by omitting a small but essential part of her speech. She said, “‘never again’ means something.” She is 100% right, “Never Again” does mean something. Especially when used in the context of a speech about concentration camps (as explained above in J.C.R.C. open letter to Miss Ocasio-Cortez).

The Jewish Community Relations Council extended an offer to help the congresswoman, and educate her on the Holocaust, saying:

As our city is home to the largest Holocaust survivor community in the United States, we would be pleased to work with you to arrange a visit to a concentration camp, a local Holocaust museum, hear the stories of local survivors, or participate in other educational opportunities in the hopes of better understanding the horrors of the Holocaust.

The attempt to make congresswoman from New York, more aware of horrors of the Holocaust, deserves enormous respect. Unfortunately, ladies and gentlemen, you can’t teach anything to someone who already knows everything. So don’t waste your time…

Last thought:
At first, I wanted to post a few pictures showing people in Concentration Camps and people in detention centers, for comparison. But I’ve realized that by doing that on some half-baked blog of mine, would be extremely disrespectful to people who had lost their lives by the hand of Nazi henchmen who’ve run those Death Camps, and would put me on that same level that Miss Ocasio-Cortez has unintentionally landed by making her comments. So, no pictures, just text.

Ted Nugent On Democrats

A Quick Thought.

Ted Nugent 6/16/19:

Democrats are some strange dangerous anti-human cult/species.

Scientists have discovered a powerful new strain of fact-resistant humans who are threatening the ability of the U.S. to remain a free country, a sobering new study reports.

Ted Nugent

Adopted from an article by Andy Borowitz
Published in The New Yorker, May 12, 2015

Ted is going scientific on new breed of logic-resistant political organisms.

How to reason with irrational people who are allergic to facts and logic?

Well, the reasoning is not the option. Trust your gut. (Don’t listen to advise of any psychiatrists, psychologists, or so-called mental health professionals. They are more screwed-up then the people they try to help). If it doesn’t feel right, promptly remove yourself from the immediate vicinity of their influence, and if available, lock the door behind you. Good luck.

Why Do I Think Megan Rapinoe Is An Idiot

I was born and raised in a communist country, and I was taught to hate my government and to love my country. That was because my parents and family understood, that

Your government ≠ your country,

Country or nation and a government are completely different entities. (Some could argue that government is a part of the nation, but because sometimes governments work against the interest of the nations, I will stick with “completely different entities”) When you disrespect your country’s flag or national anthem, even if you think you are flipping the government or president off, you are, in fact, giving a finger to yourself.

You’re giving a finger to your family, your friends and everyone else, including those who share your sentiment towards the government. These people are the part of our nation and you dissed them all. Congratulations!

I’ll probably never put my hand over my heart. I’ll probably never sing the national anthem again.

Megan Rapinoe

I have a couple of simple questions.

  • Why Miss Rapinoe agreed to go to France to represent our country if she hates it?
  • Why after indicating that she was going to protest this nation she was sent there anyway, as a member of our national team?
  • Why after disrespecting our National Anthem she’s still there?

I don’t have a problem with Miss Rapinoe protesting our government or our president; the first amendment covers it (would be nice if she refrained from doing it on foreign soil). If she doesn’t agree with government policies or doesn’t like some specific government official, she’s free to express her opinion. On the other hand, I think someone should explain to her that as a member of US National soccer team, she represents the nation, not the government (that’s what ambassadors are for). I have an impression that Miss Rapinoe doesn’t understand it, and in effect, she protests a president by dishonoring herself and, more importantly, the entire nation.

Probably I could use some other word instead of an “idiot,” like for example; ignorant or uneducated but in the end, I’ve decided to leave it in. I figured that since being controversial is fashionable these days, I will try to place myself in the same exclusive category which the subject of this post is in already: controversial people with extremely high self-esteem. I think I’m okay if it comes to a controversial element. My self-esteem still needs a little improvement, especially in comparison to that of Miss Rapinoe, who when explaining why she deserves to represent us in the Women’s World Cup, told Yahoo News:

Because I’m as talented as I am, I get to be here, you don’t get to tell me if I can be here or not.

Megan Rapinoe

So, does she have a right to be or not to be there in France, that is the question. I always thought that representing your country is an honor, not a right. But what do I know?

Piers Morgan On Meghan Markle

A Quick Thought.

Piers Morgan 6/10/19:

So call me suspicious, but I don’t think her absence from Trump’s visit had anything to do with her baby, and everything to do with her dislike of her President.

And that, I’m afraid, is unacceptable.

It’s not part of the deal.

Piers Morgan

It looks like Piers is not happy with the American Princess’ behavior.
And neither am I.

So, one Royal Fixture was missing from President Trump visit to Great Britain.

Everybody clearly saw what they could not see – Meghan Markle (aka Duchess of Sussex). Her action or rather lack of it made Piers Morgan understandably upset. Read his article here.

No matter what the reason for her absence was (it seems like the new addition to the royal family had nothing to do with it), it doesn’t look good for Prince Harry. If Meghan decided to stay home and disrespect Trump by ignoring his visit, that means that Harry doesn’t carry much weight around the house and can’t… control his wife.

If, on the other hand, royal higher-ups made her stay home because they didn’t want to risk that she will do something disrespectful to Trump, that means they don’t have much confidence in Harry’s abilities to… control his wife.

Either way – bad Harry, baaad Harry…

The Great Old New York City Is Coming Back, And I Love It

The city without limits.

I’ve landed in New York City at the end of the summer of 1986, and it was the love from the first sight. It was over 1900 murders in NYC that year, almost 5500 rapes and lots of less critical unlawful events. The city was vibrant and eventful.

Charles Bronson running around town blowing bad actors away in his Death Wish movies become an inspiration for some guys who tried to get even with the city underworld. Unfortunately, they weren’t Charles Bronson, so not much came out of their good or should I say bad, intentions.

New York City of the 80s and early 90s was a fusion of nightmarish beauty, psychopathic drug-induced fantasies and wrapped in the graffiti-soaked cloth of multiculturalism, oasis of ugly reality which members of high society and run by them politicians refused to see. ( O.K. This paragraph is a little too deep even for my taste, but what the hell, why not? If you can figure out what my brain was trying to tell me, use a comment section below to explain it to me. Thanks in advance).

Talking about ugly reality. New York City was as ugly as hell. There was garbage everywhere, and it was normal. On a windy day, one could be hit in the face by some unidentified flying object and most people didn’t care because they understood that it was a part of being a New Yorker. It was challenging to take a walk without being engaged by multiple small business entrepreneurs ranging from squeegee people trying to clean your sunglasses, thru streetwalkers to retail drug dealers trying to get you interested in their product, and visiting certain parts of Big Apple was comparable to a suicide attempt. The city was so messed up that it got to the point…

When ugly became beautiful.

I really loved that mess. Why, why do you like it so much? People kept asking me, and my standard answer to that question was: Because I couldn’t afford to pay millions of dollars for Jackson Pollock painting. The mess I was interacting with, was free and at least as artistic as Mr. Pollock’s work.

I could never understand why all those rich adrenaline junkies from Wall Street, ware paying thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars to go on an African safari or be taken to see some “undiscovered tribe” living in the middle of Amazon jungle. All they needed to do was take a short drive to the South Bronx in NYC. There were multiple teams of highly trained professional car tuners, who specialized in improving the look and driveability of vehicles by removing all unnecessary dealer options and ornaments which they viewed as useless. That included wheels, seats and more often than not, engine and transmission. I’m sure that watching those gentlemen at work, would cause sizeable adrenaline spike in any of the thrill seekers out there.

There was even an attempt at creating a tour bus company which would bus tourist thru the most colorful areas of Big Apple, but for some unexplainable reason, company founder could not find anyone willing to insure his business.

So, overall, New York was doing great. There was lots of action around the city, giving me a reason to visit and a chance to temporarily disconnect from my boring everyday life. And then, when my happiness ware flying high and fast, disaster struck. Some guy named

Rudolph (Rudy) Giuliani became Mayor of New York City,

and I did not see it coming.

Why? Why people elected that man to be the mayor? He was talking about cleaning my beloved town. New York was as clean as I wanted it to be. No additional cleaning was required. But what did I know?

The new mayor reached for his mop immediately after moving into the Gracie Mansion and started swinging like it was no tomorrow. He began to implement the thesis of so-called The broken windows theory by George L. Kelling and James Q. Wilson.

Kelling/Wilson theory, as I understand it, suggested that if you don’t react to low-level petty crime, the hardcore criminals will move in next.

Simply speaking, if you don’t respond to some kid breaking the glass in your living room window, a couple of teenagers will show up next, and pull the entire window out. If that won’t trigger any action on your part, you’ll see all your belongings being carried out, and in the end, some psycho will blow your brains out and set your house on fire.

I have to admit, this point of view makes perfect sense to me, but I just don’t believe that blindly following any theory, even the best one, is a good idea. Unfortunately, Mayor Giuliani decided to throw all the New York City into a washing machine and then added a triple dose of heavy-duty detergent and bleach.

In effect, a few years into Mr. Giuliani term of office, New York become very clean, safe and extremely

Boring city.

There was no action what so ever.

I’m not talking about museums, galleries and theaters. Whatever was worth seeing, involved admission fees, and if it was free, there was always a good reason for that, no one was willing to pull a wallet out, and pay to see whatever it was that someone put proudly on display.

I’m talking about street art. I’m talking about artists who used sidewalks, walls, and sometimes police cars as their canvas. Some of their artwork was good, some bad and some spectacular.

I’m talking about musicians who tried to get noticed by record producers. Some of them were good, some just made noise and some were spectacular.

I’m talking about the greatest art gallery in the world – New York City subway system. There was graffiti everywhere, mostly gang-related. Some of the works were good, some really bad but some of it was spectacular.

Unfortunately, all of it been classified as harmful to society and thrown in a garbage can. No one cared that not all of it was bad. No one cared that some of it was, you guess, spectacular.

I have nothing against improvement, nothing against fixing what’s broken, but exaggerated cleaning isn’t good either. Living in a sterile environment weakens your immune system.

Finally, after many years of heavy cleaning, (after Giuliani left, another guy stayed in office for 12 years regardless of 8-year term limit rule), Gracie Mansion became home to Mayor de Blasio, and hints of

Reversal of bad luck had shown on the horizon.

The new mayor started slow, using small steps approach.

So far, between visits to a gym and naps in the office, he managed to increase New York’s homeless population (Over the course of City fiscal year 2018, 133,284 different homeless men, women, and children slept in the New York City municipal shelter system), and made sure to distribute them evenly thru entire city by creating new shelters, mostly in areas frequent by tourist. I’m sure visitors to Big Apple appreciate the chance of seeing members of less fortunate part of our society, doing things which should not be done in public.

The most significant jump in a number of homeless people occurred among adult singles.

Chart by Coalition For The Homeless

In recent years, homelessness in New York City has reached the highest levels since the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Another small step in the right direction – the new approach to petty crimes.

Police officers have now the power to use their discretion and issue a civil summons, rather than a criminal one, for offenses such as public urination and public drinking. More often then not, they decide to do neither. This makes perfect sense. Since homeless slowly becoming one of the NYC tourist attractions, we don’t want them to be disturbed when taking care of their business and being photographed by our guests from Japan.

Friendliness towards petty crimes is bringing street art back to Big Apple. The heart of the biggest gallery in the world – NYC Subway, starts beating again. As for now, and we are at the early stages of this new trend, the cost of graffiti cleaning jumped just over 350% up over the last couple of years. We’ll see where the future will take us.

So, as I stated above, taking small steps but steadily moving forward, Mayor De Blasio is transforming NYC into more dynamic and adventures place. With over two years still to go, he has time to add many more achievements to his political portfolio.

I, of course, know that he’s running for president, but I don’t expect that New Yorkers will let him move to Washington, they love him too much. He’s almost as popular among NYC residents as our current president, Donald Trump.

Keep up the excellent work, Mr. Mayor, I’m rooting for you.
