Facebook Bans “Women for Trump” Ads, Because… They Target Conservative Women

Strong women need not apply.

Facebook has removed another Donald Trump campaign ad for violating its advertising policies. Facebook policy states: Advertisements

must not contain content that asserts or implies personal attributes. This includes direct or indirect assertions or implications about a person’s race, ethnic origin, religion, beliefs, age, sexual orientation or practices, gender identity, disability, medical condition (including physical or mental health), financial status, membership in a trade union, criminal record, or name.

A Facebook spokesperson said that the ad violated a section of its policies that prohibits “content that asserts or implies personal attributes.”  It appears that placing references to strong women in political advertisement targeted at women is against Facebook advertising policies…

Original add.

This is the original ad that made snowflake weaklings upset. I’m not surprised. If it comes to “progressive” movement, anyone who’s strong or smart or simply independent doesn’t fit-in. They need people who want everything free and in exchange for freebies, they will gladly surrender their freedom. Members of Women For Trump Coalition are not it.

I think, I’ve fixed it.

I have delicately modified the original ad to make it a little more politically correct. To ladies at The Women For Trump Coalition: You’re welcome to use my version of your ad – charge free.

The question is:

Is getting an ad spot on Facebook a good idea?
I don’t think so (at least not for conservatives).

Facebook gathers information about its users and uses that info to target the advertisement paid by Facebook customers (advertisers) at a specific group of people, like for example, women.

But, and there’s always a but.

When a politically conservative group decides to use FB to promote their views – specifically support for Trump – by placing an ad on the FB platform, the ad, most likely, will get kicked out for violating advertising policies, and there’s manyof those because guys running Facebook want to cover all possible scenarios in case they see the need of removing something they don’t like. Pro-Trump ads are at the top of the list.
