Today, on December 18, 2019, Democrats in Congress voted Donald Trump to his second term as the president of the United States.
It doesn’t really feel like we’re being impeached. The country is doing better than ever before. We did nothing wrong. And we have tremendous support in the Republican party like we have never had before. Nobody has ever had this kind of support.Donald Trump
Abuse of power:
the count was 230-197 to impeach.
Obstruction of Congress:
the count was 229-198 to impeach.
Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey
Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota
voted with Republicans against both articles of impeachment
Rep. Jared Golden of Maine
voted yes on abuse of power and no on obstruction of Congress.
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard voted present.
No Republicans voted against Trump.
By Democrats’ standards, opposition to impeachment was heavily bipartisan.
The last thought on impeachment.
No last thought…
No last thought for a simple reason.
No one reasonable gives damn about this fiasco.
