Donald Trump OKs Much-Needed Water For San Joaquin Valley Farmers

On Wednesday in California, President Trump signed an order to re-design the state’s water policies, fulfilling a campaign promise to channel water from the north to the thirsty agriculture industry and growing population further south.

For too long, water authorities have flushed millions of gallons into the Pacific. I ordered the administration to update outdated opinions, which determined water allocation in this state.

The ceremonial order came after the Department of Interior late last year reversed its opinion on scientific findings that extended endangered species protections to various types of fish. The request from Trump had launched the review.
