I think this gentleman presents the proper way of reacting to the COVID-19 pandemic we are facing today.
John Campbell is a retired Nurse Teacher and A and E nurse based in England. He also, do some teaching in Asia and Africa when time permits. His Ph.D. focused on the development of open learning resources for nurses nationally and internationally.

The last thought.
The only thing I’d like to add to this presentation is that the “limited healthcare resources” (the black dotted line) are not constant. Depending on the strength and size of the economy, those resources can be quickly depleted (Kenya is a good example) or refurbished (like in the United States). Of course, even the most robust economy will not be able to fight the virus outbreak like the one we have today indefinitely, but I think a huge economy is better suited for the job than a small one.
