Twexit — Twitter vs Parler

#Twexit — Twitter vs Parler

We’ve placed a public interest notice on this Tweet for violating our policy against abusive behavior…,

More and more (mostly conservative) accounts on Twitter get these notices, and more and more get thrown out of the platform every day. Most of the instances of “unlucky” Twitter users being dealt with by Twitter Thought Police go unnoticed. Still, when high profile conservative gets lectured — like POTUS — or kicked out — like Katie Hopkins or Carpe Donktum — everyone talks about it and things start to happen.

500,000 Social Media Users Moved To PARLER!

The first time I’ve written about Parler was a little over a year ago after company’s CEO John Matze’s appearance on Ingraham Angle. At that time, Parler had a little over 100,000 users, today it has over 1.5 million.

Devin Nunes with John Matze — the CEO of the social network Parler.

Of course, 1.5 million looks laughable compared to over 330 million active users on the Twitter platform. Still, Parley’s numbers are growing fast, and these are mostly high-quality users, meaning — people with disposable income.

Efforts on the part of Twitter to ban, suspend, and censor prominent conservative voices from its platform forced them and their followers to look for other options. Parler — a social media platform with functionally similar to Twitter, but without the censorship — seems like a perfect replacement.

The big names that have set up Parler accounts recently include:

Many of these personalities continue to use Twitter but promote Parler to their followers. Some also re-post their Parler content on their Twitter accounts.

Katie Hopkins and Carpe Donktum recently joined the platform after being removed from Twitter. Katie isn’t the only high profile Brit who joined Parler. Some Conservative Members of Parlament have joined the platform. These include the MP for Mansfield Ben Bradley, MP for Guildford Angela Richardson, and MP for Wycombe Steve Baker.

Is Jack Dorsey destroying Twitter?

It appears that Jack Dorsey wants to purge his platform off all conservatives. Still, in reality, his actions force any user, not just conservative, with even traces of common sense, to re-evaluate Twitter as a social media platform. People, in general, don’t like to be patronized by some condescending “superior intellect.”

If Jack does not change his attitude towards independent thinkers, Twitter will be over-run by supporters of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Barack Obama. It means that only children, teenagers, college students, and adults who believe that everything they need should be provided free of charge, will use Twitter.

People who have jobs, run small businesses, receive good pensions, and are willing to spend their hard-earned money — the kind of people that corporations want to advertise their products to, will move somewhere else.

Because no business will pay to advertise its product or service to people who are not interested in paying for it, Twitter will become a platform filled with hundreds of millions of users with zero commercial value to advertisers.

On the other hand, Parler will have a much leaner user base but with much more to offer for those ready to pay for access to those users.
Quality over quantity. Always.

Larry Elder — Why Are Black Conservatives Called Uncle Tom?

Conservative thinker and media personality — Larry Elder — talks with Jan Jekielek about his new documentary: “Uncle Tom.”

Democrats don’t want a color-blind society. They want a color-coordinated society.

Larry Elder

Interview by Jan Jekielek.

American Thought Leaders – on Jun 18, 2020

Larry Elder comments on nonexistent systemic police racism, the rise of “revenge culture,” affirmative action, the Black Lives Matter movement.

He brings an example of Professor of Economics Roland Fryer of Harvard University who studied if the police disproportionately use deadly force against black people. To Fryer’s surprise,

Not only were the police not using deadly force disproportionately against blacks, they were more hesitant more reluctant to pull the trigger on a black suspect than on the white suspect presumably because they were afraid of being accused of being racist

by organization like Black Lives Matter — which, as its co-founder, Patrisse Cullors, explains: “are trained Marxists (trained by whom?),” and Larry Elder describes as:

A left-wing movement that’s hostile in my opinion to the values that made this country great, and it’s built upon this phony narrative that the police are out to get black people when in fact, the studies show the opposite.

And then continues saying that it is:

One thing just to have a stupid point of view, lots of people have stupid points of view that are harmless. This [BLM] is harmful.

Another harmful movement is the so-called cancel culture, which Elder calls revenge culture. People apply today’s standards to the past and then want to ban or destroy whatever, or whoever it is that offends them. HBO pulling Gone with the Wind from its streaming service is just the latest example.

The idea of that you’re going to go around and find all the things that offend you from the sensibilities of somebody living in 2020. It’s absurd. The film [Gone with the Wind] was made in 1939,

and the book was published in 1936, that’s over 80 years ago.

Elder also touches on the idea of affirmative action. He views it as a dangerous concept. Lowering standards for a specific group of people is disrespectful and causes others to question their qualifications.

When I get on the airplane, and I see a black pilot, I don’t want to know about affirmative action. I want to make sure that this guy aced his pilot exam, and he’s there because he’s the most competent pilot I could possibly have.

Like Elder, I don’t want to second-guess if my CPA, my dentist, or my lawyer know their craft, or maybe have gained their credentials through affirmative action, and I’ll end up being broke, toothless and in prison.

The last thought (with help from Larry Elder).

So, we have progressivism, socialism, communism, marxism, idiotism, cretinism, and…

You tell me which platform is the one that wants to give you choices at school, which platform is more likely to create economic conditions so that you get a job. Which is the platform that pushes victim-hood and that you’re oppressed? And which is the platform that says, you are an individual capable of making your own decisions… If you work hard, stay focused, you’ll be fine in America. Which platform says that?

Obianuju Ekeocha — Why American Politicians Are Using Kente Fabric As Prop?

Using other cultures’ symbols without a proper understanding of their meaning is not always a good idea. If you are lucky, you’ll only make yourself look stupid. If you’re less fortunate, you’ll offend some people. But, if luck has totally left your site, you’ll be seen as foolish and offensive to many people.

Africans, you’re so cute!

Nigerian author and president of Culture of Life Africa — Obianuju Ekeocha — criticized the use of Kente fabric by Democrat Party leadership as

some kind of placating sign or symbol to show that they are not racist, and they are together with black people.

And then she scalded them for simplifying African tradition.

Excuse me, dear Democrats. In your tokenism, you didn’t wait to find out that this thing that you’re hanging around your neck is not just some African uniform — it’s actually the Kente material. The Kente belongs to the Ghanaian people, mainly the Ashanti tribe. Excuse me, Democrats, don’t treat Africans like we’re children. These fabrics, and these colorful things that we have within our culture and tradition, they all mean something to us.

She also used some humor to make her point.

There is more Kente fabric in this picture than at a Ghanaian traditional wedding.

Obianuju Ekeocha

Commenting on photo-op by Democrats on Capitol Hill.

Dear Democrats. It’s NOT that simple.

Kente is made by the Asante and Ewe peoples and is the best known of all African textiles. Kente fabric has its mythology and related superstitions. In kente cloth, colors are significant, conveying these meanings (MORE):

  • Black — maturation, aging, intensified spiritual energy.
  • Blue — peacefulness, harmony, good fortune, love.
  • Gold — royalty, wealth, spiritual purity.
  • Green — vegetation, planting, harvesting, growth, good health.
  • Grey — healing and cleansing rituals; associated with ash.
  • Maroon — the color of mother earth; associated with healing and protection from evil.
  • Pink — associated with the female essence of life; calmness, sweetness, tenderness.
  • Red — political and spiritual associations; bloodshed; sacrificial rites and death.
  • Silver — serenity, purity, joy, associated with the moon.
  • White — purification, sanctification rites, healing.
  • Yellow — preciousness, royalty, wealth, fertility (yolk of an egg).

It would be interesting to know what the colors of kente scarves worn by the Democrats during their photo session do mean and if any of that colors represent silliness.

The last thought.

There’s one more detail about the Ashanti tribe that Democrats didn’t know about, and very few people bother to mention. Members of the Ashanti tribe ware major slave traders in West Africa. So there is a real possibility that some ancestors of people whom SOH. Pelosi and Sen. Schumer wanted to honor by wearing kente scarves, were sold into slavery by those who created kente cloth tradition. But that is a different story…

Do Black Lives Really Matter?

Do all black lives matter or only those which can be politicized? Listen to Joel Patrick, a young man with commonsense.

Dear Black Lives Matter, stop pretending to care about black people!

I believe that the silent majority will win. I believe that hard work, loving God, and your fellow man and woman is the way to a better, and more fulfilling life. The truth may set you free but may ruffle some feathers along the way. I won’t apologize for my beliefs, but I will try and speak the truth in love.

We’re Back! Gains of 2.5 Million Jobs In May. Economists In Shock!

Economists predicted the May jobs report would show losses of around 7 to 8 million jobs. That’s what they suspected. Reality decided not to cooperate and has blown all the computer models and Ph.D.’s who run them out of their university labs. They were stunned to find out the U.S. economy added, yes, ADDED 2.5 million jobs…

Published on Jun 5, 2020
by Fox Business.

Labor Secretary — Eugene Scalia — was calm and collected when commenting on the latest job numbers.

Today’s report shows much higher job creation and lower unemployment than expected, reflecting that the re-opening of the economy in May was earlier, and more robust, than projected. Millions of Americans are still out of work, and the Department remains focused on bringing Americans safely back to work and helping States deliver unemployment benefits to those who need them. However, it appears the worst of the coronavirus’s impact on the nation’s job markets is behind us.

Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, was less diplomatic. He made it clear who is responsible for turning the economy around and who is not.

We got no help from the states of New York, California, Illinois. Any of these other blue states that are still shut down, they can’t claim any credit, and they’re not participating in this recovery, either. The red states have made this happen. The red state people are going to back to work, accepting responsibility, reopening their business.

The red states are once again carrying the water, carrying the weight, carrying the day — and you’re damn right it’s a competition, and you’re damn right we do not want to unify with places where things are falling apart and where there is no effort being made to reverse that direction.

Rush is right. No one wants to be associated with losers.

Losers who think they’re winners.

People who run big blue states like California like to say that they carry the rest of the country on their shoulders. They say that without their economic support, the rest of the country will not be able to function.

It was true before the coronavirus lock-down-catastrophe, but now…, now the rest of the country reopens, and blue states stay behind. Companies around the nation, many of which are in direct competition with those still under lock-down rules, are back in business when California and some other Democrat-run states, you guessed, stay behind.

What do leaders in big blue states think will happen to the businesses when they aren’t able to deliver to their customers in other parts of our country, which are opened, and ready to kick it in the high gear? They will lose those customers to the out of state competition.

The worst scenario is that they will go bankrupt, the best — if they manage to stay afloat, they will move all or at least part of their business somewhere else.

So, to all those leaders who think that America can not survive without their states’ economies, think again. You’ll either get your act together or “your economies” will move out somewhere else.

Riot Organizers Threaten Destruction Of The Suburbs

Sheriff Grady Judd explaining in plain English why visiting his county with intentions to loot and destroy is a bad idea.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd made sure that potential looters understand his position on the citizens’ right to protect themselves and their property.

People of Polk County like guns. They have guns. I encourage them to own guns, and they’re going to be in their homes tonight with their guns loaded. And if you try to break into their homes to steal, to set fires, I’m highly recommending they blow you back out of the house with their guns.

I think his message is clear enough for anyone with IQ above that of a mosquito to understand.

But somehow, there’s still confusion.

What those anarchists, who threaten to extend the riots to suburbs and then deeper into what they call the “fly-over” country don’t understand, is how different New York City or Minneapolis or other big, run by progressives, cities in the US are from the rest of the country.

Unlike in areas run by progressive politicians, where the law-abiding citizens are kept unarmed, People living in the country are armed. They own firearms and know how to use them.

So, as sheriff Grady Judd said to geniuses planning on having some fun when visiting his county:

If you value your life, you probably shouldn’t do that.

All the Deplorables in fly-over America have the same message for promotors of anarchy. Don’t show up in our backyard! Unless your idea of fun is running fast in a zigzag fashion….
