CDC Updated Report: 94% of COVID-19 Deaths Had Serious Underlying Medical Conditions

The Centers for Disease Control released a report showing how many people who died from COVID-19 had underlying medical conditions that attributed to their death.

From 2.2 million down to…

On March 16, 2020, a report from Dr. Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London and his team sent shivers through the world by delivering enormous CIVID-19 death estimates.

It wasn’t the first time when Dr. Ferguson created widespread panic by publicizing his predictions of sensational death estimates due to a pandemic. He did this a few times before. His predictions of a death count result from mad cow disease, bird flu, and swine flu ended up being nowhere even remotely near to reality.

  • 2001 — Neil Ferguson’s research sparked a slaughter of more than six million cattle, sheep, and pigs during the outbreak of the foot-and-mouth disease in the U.K. (A cost to the U.K. economy totaled some £10 billion.) He also predicted that up to 150,000 people could die. Less than 200 died due to FMD.
  • 2002 — Neil Ferguson predicted that up to 50,000 people would likely die from Mad Cow Disease (BSE) exposure. The death count has reached 177.
  • 2005 — Neil Ferguson predicted that up to 200 million people could be killed from bird flu worldwide. His reasoning?
“Around 40 million people died in the 1918 Spanish flu outbreak,” he said. There are six times more people on the planet now, so you could scale it up to around 200 million people probably.”
Two hundred and eighty two people have succumbed to that disease globally.
  • 2009 — Based on Neil Ferguson’s expert opinion, the U.K. government estimated that the swine flu would kill close to 65,000 people in the U.K. Less than 500 people lost their lives due to that illness.

And finally:
On March 16, 2020, Dr. Ferguson and his team have struck again. Hopefully, this time will be the last. His computer simulation model called for 2.2 million American deaths caused by Coronavirus (worst case scenario), by merely assuming that 81% of the population gets infected (that’s 268 million people) and that 0.9% of them die. As of today, the number of deaths attributed to the virus is approaching 190,000.

…less than 10 thousand.

According to the CDC’s newly updated report, out of almost 190,000 COVID-19 deaths, only 9,683 people in the United States have a COVID-19 listed on their death certificate as the only cause of death. The rest of people whose deaths ware attributed to COVID-19 ware suffering from other illness or multiple illnesses, but tested positive for COVID-19 or wasn’t tested but had COVID-19 symptoms.

From the CDC report:

The types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.

The following are the top underlying medical conditions linked to COVID-19 deaths.

  • Influenza and pneumonia
  • Respiratory failure
  • Hypertensive disease
  • Diabetes
  • Vascular and unspecified dementia
  • Cardiac Arrest
  • Heart failure
  • Renal failure
  • Intentional and unintentional injury, poisoning and other adverse events
  • Other medical conditions

The last thought.

Why are so many deaths listed as caused by COVID-19 connected to at least one (2.6 on average) additional medical condition? Laura Ingraham and Dr. Scott Jensen outlined some possible reasons on Laura’s tv show — Laura Ingraham Angle.

Tucker Carlson On Computer Models And Inaccurate COVID-19 Pandemic Predictions

Tucker Carlson took a closer look at the work of computer modelers and their unsuccessful attempts at predicting the future of coronavirus pandemic. The main problem is the gross overestimation of the scale of the outbreak.

For many years, the CDC has tracked the total number of Americans who die every week from pneumonia, and that number has come in far lower than at the same moment in previous years. How could that be? It is entirely possible that doctors are classifying conventional pneumonia deaths as COVID-19 deaths. That would mean that this epidemic is being credited for thousands of deaths that would have occurred if the virus never appeared here. We don’t know that for certain, but it is certainly worth considering. Something is skewing those numbers.

The last thought.

Programmers who create computer models for financial institutions laugh at the models used by the coronavirus task force. They say that if their models were as inaccurate as those used to predict the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic, they would end up in jail.

Some people up there start to think that all those scientific models or maybe just “scientific models” are being created with intentions to scare the population into uncontested submission. We’ll see.

COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC TRACKER

I decided to drop the Johns Hopkins corona tracker and switch to Worldometer’s COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC tracker. It’s not as good looking as the one from Johns Hopkins but provides more information.

  • Currently Infected Patients (Active Cases)
  • Patients in Mild Condition
  • Patients in Serious or Critical Condition
  • Closed Cases (Recovered / Discharged and Deaths)

Data on testing at The COVID Tracking Project. (US totals and state by state numbers.)

It’s also a good idea to read this article: Evidence over hysteria — COVID-19. (It looks like this post was taken down by Medium. Will see if it come back.) The material is still on at this location.

If you rather use tracker from Johns Hopkins, use this link. Remember, however, that in order to get the number of people presently infected (active cases) you must subtract “Total Deaths” and “Total Recovered” from “Total Confirmed”.
