Rick Harrison At CPAC — Bernie Sanders, Just Wants To Crush Everything We Have.

The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.

Benjamin Franklin

Rick Harrison

Understands that socialism will kill the United States.

Harrison began his speech by paraphrasing Benjamin Franklin. Rick said: You have the right to pursue happiness; it’s up to you to catch it. The problem is that many people believe that happiness should be delivered to them by the government.

Receiving free stuff is addictive, and giving other people money away is easy. Unfortunately for takers and givers, people who are financing this arrangement (the tax-payers) lost their patience, and electing Donald Trump to be the President of the United States is the first step on the way to cut the takers off the money supply.

Socialism, Communism, Marxism — these are weapons of economic-mass-destruction. Anyone who tells you different is lying to you. People promoting these ideas use the money they take from productive members of society and use it to pay for freebies they give to anyone willing to accept them.

By doing this, they create an underclass of government-dependent citizens who, in exchange for free stuff, make sure that people running that system, stay in power. The problem is that eventually, the money stream always dries out. Always.

In the end, the productive population is taxed-out of existence, and everyone, willingly or not, needs government assistance. Unfortunately, by that time, there’s no one left who can pay for it.

The less rules and regulations, the more businesses that will open. Bernie Sanders wants to tax me at 90%. Why would I want to open up a business if I’m not going to make no money?

The last thought.

Every time the government gives something away “for free,” people who accept the freebie pay a very high price for it. But because they don’t pay for it in dollars and cents, they think it is free.

Guess what. It’s not free. Government freebies come with a very high price tag. But instead of reaching into one’s wallet, looking for dollars, the government takes the payment in much more valuable currency.

The name of that currency is FREEDOM.

Senator Romney Is Formally Disinvited from CPAC 2020

As a result of breaking ranks with Senate Republicans and calling for additional testimony from witnesses in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, Matt Schlapp (chairman of the American Conservative Union) twitted that Utah Senator Mitt Romney has been “formally NOT invited” to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to be held in February this year in Fort Washington, Maryland.

So, what’s going on with former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney?
Unless he’s planning to run for president on Democratic ticket, his latest actions make no sense what so ever. It’s not unusual for Romney to oppose the president, but he’s doing it more and more often, and some of his GOP colleagues appear to be losing their patience.

Republican from Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler criticized Sen. Mitt Romney over his push for witnesses at the Senate impeachment trial.

After two weeks, it’s clear that Democrats have no case for impeachment. Sadly, my colleague Senator Romney wants to appease the left by calling witnesses who will slander Donald Trump during their 15 minutes of fame. The circus is over. It’s time to move on!

Unfortunately, Sen. Romney, instead of moving on, decided to stick to it and become a member of the democrat-led circus troupe. Good luck with that, senator.

Some speculations that rather ulterior motives drive Romney’s strong opposition to Trump are resurfacing again. Jealousy, the need for retribution, feelings of superiority to the man in Oval Office (the office Romney ran for twice and failed), and viewing him as not worthy of the job, appear to influence Romney’s political decisions rather heavily.

It’s clear that Romney wants to get even with Trump, but he picked the worst possible way and the least appropriate time to do it. In a blind attempt to hurt the president, he’s losing his conservative base, and I’m sure as hell, he’s not attracting any democrats. In effect, he’s committing political suicide while simultaneously, luckily for the rest of us, instead of damaging the president, he’s making him stronger and more popular.

It’s great to see a positive outcome from a rather unfortunate situation. Excellent job, senator, keep it up.

The last thought.

It looks like Romney just jumped off the top of Trump Tower yelling on his way down — “I’ve got you, Trump! I’ve got you good!”
I won’t even try to figure out the reasoning behind his decision; it’s way beyond me. But, I think I can come up with a simple answer to a viral question circulating on and around the capitol right now: What’s next for Mitt Romney?

Well…, a loud “SPLASH!!!” on contact with the sidewalk.
